Microwavable Nabemono Pot for Single Serving 1.5L KB-700

There may be days when you want to eat some nabe (Japanese hot pot) but since nabe is basically served in bulk, it may be difficult to eat such a portion by yourself. However, once you have this product, such a concern will no longer be an issue.

This is a compact, microwavable pot designed to make nabe for one! All you have to do is prepare ingredients, water, and the soup base.

You can make other Japanese one-pot meals such as zosui (Japanese rice soup), udon, takikomi-gohan (Japanese mixed rice), and even ramen!

The pot is made of heat-resistant plastic, so it is lighter than conventional clay pots. The lid has hollowed parts that are convenient to put your chopsticks in.

Maximum capacity is 1.5 liters, which enables a large-portion dish for one person but also is compatible with 2 servings.

Dishwasher- and dish dryer-safe.

Instructions

The cooking time varies between dishes, but you can adjust the time depending on the cooking methods and according to your preferences. Make sure to close the lid while heating in the microwave.

For nabe, put 150~200ml of water, ingredients, and the soup base. Then microwave the pot for 12 minutes at 500W, or for 10 minutes at 600W.

For zosui, put 100g of rice, 250ml of water, and any desired garnishes and toppings. Then microwave the pot for 12 minutes at 500W. If you wish to add an egg, add it after first heating, and then microwave for another minute.

For instant ramen, microwave for 3 minutes at 500W. You can make instant ramen with cold water; to do so, microwave for 7 minutes at 500W. If you wish to add vegetables and other toppings, microwave for one more minute.

For udon, put 250ml of water, noodles, and other ingredients. Microwave for 2.5 minutes at 500W. If you wish to cook with cold water, microwave for 4.5 minutes at 500W.
